Phone 243 Phone 243 About B isbee Gas Service Two points or great importance to the user or prospective user of gas are 1st Dependable Service. 2nd - Quality of Gas -. jr&t??r - . - (Heat Value Contents in British Thermal Units) With reference to the first we can say that when we took over the local gas bus iness, July 1st, 1911, we immediately began making repairs and improvements to the plant and distributingsystem necessary to put the gas supply on a reliable basis, with the result that thegas has not been off the town since August 3rd, 1911, and the public may rely upon every effort being put forth to continue this record indefinitely. As to the quality of the gas we have been making, our records show that we have been furnishing gas of Standard quality for more than a year, and in order to check our figures we recently sent a sample to an expert gas engineer for analysis. He states: "This shows a spiendid grade of oil gas," the complete analysis is as follows: SAMPLE OF GAS SUBMITTED BY BIS BEE IMPROVEMENT COMPANY SHOWS FOLLOWING CONTENTS: From this it will be seen that Bis bee gas is all that could be asked for in candle power and heat value, and we want to assure any prospective gas users that thev need have no fear on either of the above im portant points when considering the matter of sub stituting gas ap pliances for their present equipment. THE GAS METER For the benefit of anyone interested in the working of the gas meter, we have connected, in our display room, a gas meter having glass top and sides, exposing to view all the working parts. This meter can be seen in operation and we feel sure it will be of interest to many gas users. Call and ask for a demonstration and watch the meter do its work. It will show you how m uch faster the meter runs when valve is opened so far that the gas flame extends up around vessel, and what a saving can be effected by proper use of the little simmer burner. Come and see laid open to plain view that apparently mysterious piece of apparatus that has been registering the gas you use.
