John Davis, alias Berry, was bold to answer yesterday In Judge Oeorge R. Smith's court at Lowell, to the SUpariof court in Tombstone. The specific charge agatnat Davis is con spiracy to rob the Bank of Lewell. The young man who was re inform ant in the case waa held on a nomi nal bond for appearance in Tomb stone on the same charge. Additional developments have prov en, beyond all doubt, that Berry in tended to go clear through with the robbery had not the hour been late Monday when the two met. At that he remarked to the younger man that they would postpone It a couple of daya. It developed that Berry had se cured a bottle of liquid which closely resembled nltro glycerine In appear ance and consistency for use In the bank. It waa proposed, according to the informant, that should the em ptoyea give any trouble Berry was to poll the bottle out of his pocket and threaten tb blow the entire bank and all tbe occupants of the room to pieces. Investigation showed the bot tie to contain strained honey.
