TRANSFERRED TO FIELD ARTILLERY Cleve Walker, at one time teleprnnh operator at Hackberry, has been trans ferred from the infantrv at Camn Cody to the field artillery at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Many of the other boys have taken transfer from the New Mexico camp to the artillery and oth er units of the big army. FROM YAVAPAI COUNTY Tony G. Walter, of Simmons, Yava pai county, was in Kingman yesterday to look after important business. Mr. Walter ii the owner of a big cattle rancn and a farm in Williamson val ley a id reports that it is showing up excellently. KINGMAN HIGH SCHOOL The schools of Kingman, including the high school, will open for the fall and winter sessions on the 15th of September. The schools are now of sufficient capacity to care for all ap plicants and it is to be hoped that there will be a full attendance. White many of the boys of school ago have joined the colors there are many young fellows and girls left to make up re spectable classes in all the schools. The boards have engaged an excellent corps of teachers and retains W. L. Linville as superintendent of the grammar and high schools.
