can has any recollection.
E, E. Cooper ought to kndw
that no one he ahuBed last week
was ever dismissed from the Rail
way Mail Service for robbing the
mails.
Neither did any grand jury ever
indict any man he attempted to
abuse last week.
R. W Thompson ought to know
also that no one he mentioned last
week eTer had bis wife to come to
the Government Printing Office
and hare one dismissed for non
support.
The public should beware of
bogus newspapers agents.
The Bee is the leading paper in
the United States.
The American negro should
have some manhood.
It iB the bad man who does bad
deeds.
Think well of those who tell the
truth.
The colored soldier is still in the
dark.
He has been promoted from pri
vate to lieutenant.
They fought bravely at Santiago.
They saved the liTes of many
hnndred Rough Riders.
They have been compensated by
being promoted to lieutenant.
The day will soon come when
the colored soldier will be wanted.
The nation will have a greater
war with other nations soon.
Don't forget, The Bee's pre
diction. Don't be alarmed the country
is safe.
E. E. Cooper can change quicker
than anT man who attempts to run
a newspaper.
His democratic proclivities
caused him to leave Indianapolis,
Ind.
He will leave Washington shortly.
