8 COMPETITION OfLETMvCMED IN LOS ANGEILEIS. The fame of our celebrated make of Hit ill ART CLOTHING has won for us the reputation of being the HOME OF LOW PRICES AND Birthplace of Gi*eat and Honest Bargains. It is not alone our low prices to which we point with pride, but also to the superiur make and finish of our garments, also the perfect tit we give our customers. Is it any wonder, then, that our BUSINESS IS INCREASING, while others complain oi theirs decreasing. "We promised the public we would give them honest goods at HONEST PRICES and for that reason the CHICAGO CLOTHING COMPANY Has become the most PROMINENT HOUSE west of Chicago. We intend to live right up to our present BUSINESS PRINCIPLES. We Will Not Gauge Our Prices by Others And then offer soinejold-fashioned Auction or Shoddy Trash for less money to make the public believe they can undersell us. They can't do it. It's not the way they are raised. Its 100 per cent, or more PROFIT they want. All we want is a Square, Legitimate Margin on Our Investment, AND WE ARE SATISFIED. S. 0„ By his MEDICATED INHALATIONS and ' COMPOUND OXYGEN TREATMENT. Probably no system of practice ever employed has been so universally- successful as that in troduced by Dr. Williams t'orthe cure of Catarrh, Throat Diseases, Bronchitis, Asthma and Con sumption. CATARRH. j Catarrh is often regarded by the patient as a cold in the head, and he often expresses his ' astonishment at his remarkable tendency to 'contract fresh cold. Indeed he declares that Ihe is scarcely free from one cold before he i takes another, and he is always exceedingly careful; it is also a matter of surprise to him that the cold always seems to settle In the head and throat, i At times many of the symptoms of catarrh I seem to abate, and the patient is led to hope I that the disease is about to wear oft'; hut an other class of symptoms soon appear and he i learns to his horror, that instead of recovery from the disease, it is somewhat changed in its I character and has extended to the throat. | A sense of weariness is sometimes felt in I reading, speaking or singing; hoarseness at f (twins nccuU- a sensation of dryness is felt in ' thw throat, of It appears thai dome foreign I substance, as, for instance, a Isftu, obstructed I the throat; there becomes a sense of languor and fatigue; the breath lessens on a little I exertion, a short, hacking cough, a peculiar sound in clearing the throat, a feeling as 1 though there was not room enough in the j chest to breathe; these and other symptoms I occur after the disease has made considerable i progress. Then it is a time when consumption is about to begin its dreadful work. Up to this time the press of the disease may ! have been slow and the patient may, in i expressing his confident hope that it will i "wear off," declare that he has had the catarrh for years and has not seemed to become much j worse, and trusts that he will "by and by" i recover. But this delusion is the grand error ■ which has peopled our cemeteries with con i sumptive forms, as all forms of catarrh end finally in consumption. ; Every case of catarrh is curable when prop i erly treated Eastern visitors and invalids : should avail themselves of the opportunity of being cured before they return home. Those who desire to consult me in regard to their cases hail better call at the office for an examination, but if impossible to visit the office personally can write for list of questions and , circular, both of which will be sent free of I charge. Address M. HILTON WILLIAMS, M. D., 137 S. Broadway, Los Angeles, Cal. Office hours—From 9 a.m. to 12 p. m. and from 1:30 to 4 r. M. Sundays excepted.
