Fruite and Grain Which Have Been Sent to the Eaat —A Table Show ing; the Export* by Counties, The advent of the Santa Fe railroad was one of the most material features in the development made in Southern, Cali fornia during the past four years. It has followed a progressive policy as re gards road building, and now has a total milage 0f476 miles of track, as follows: Miles. H. Wade as general manager, S. B. Hynes as general freight and passenger agent, Williamson Dunn as general agent, and Charles T. Parsons as general ticket agent. The salary list of the road is an important factor in the distribution of uionev, as it has on its pay-roll an aver age of 1000 employees. The amount of freight carried by this company during the year ending June 30, 1890, shows a large export of local productions.
