Ban Francisco, Oct. 11. —The vegetable market opened slow, with supplies of all kinds plentiful. Cucumbers are doing better for pickling. Fresh fruits aro moderately active. Wine grapes are weaker today for all varieties. Peaches were plentiful but the demand is light, on account of poor quality. Table grapes are slow. Melons are scarce. Some lemons and pomegranates were received today from Los Gatos. Strawberries are lower. The high price of fresh fancy butter hns checked the demand, and pickled roll has been benefited.
