Strong Closing
On or two concerns reported indica
tions of support from insiders. London
was higher and there was more doing.
In the absence of no unfavorable news
from the seat of war.
All news, commercial and Industrial,
is1 just as encouraging as possible. But
there were no .important market, de
velopments nor news.
Immediately following the opening
there was a weak half hour following
net gains of H on the average. The
reactionary movement did not go far
and the final figures ware near the
top, showing recoveries from the clos
ing of Friday of to H in many
stocks and H to 1 point on Steel, Read
ing, Interboro preferred, and 1H on
Consolidated Oas shares.
Baltimore and Ohio, Canadian Paclflo
and Atchison rose H to H.
The closing was strong.
