Is hereby given that tho Commissioners of
the District of Columbia, pursuant to the
piuisions of section lwo to section KM 1.
Inclusive, ot the code of law for tco District
of Columbia, have Hied a petition In this
court praylne the condemnation of the land
necessary lor tho opening and widening of
on alley In Square SHI. in tto District of
Columbia, as shown un a plat or may Bled
with the said petition, as a part thereof,
and praying also that a jury of mo Judicious,
dlslnteiesieil men, not related to any person
interested In these proceedings and not In
the service or employment ot tho District
ot Columbia, or of the United States, be sum
moned by the United States marshal for
the District ot Columbia to assess the dam
ages each owner of land to bo taken may sus
tain by reason of the opening and Widening
ot said alley, and the condemnation of tho
land necessary for the purposes thereof, and
to assess as benefits resulting therefrom the
entire amount ot said damages. Including the
expenses of these proceedings, upon eacli lot
or part of lot or parcel of land In the square
or block In which said alley or minor street
Is to be opened and widened, and upon each
lot, part of lot or parcel ot ground in the
squares or blocks confronting the square In
which said alley or minor street is to be
opened and widened, as provided for In and
by the aforesaid code of law. It is. by the
court, th.s 3rd day of February. A. D. 11 C
Ordered. That all persons bavins any inter
est In these proceedings be, and they are
hereby, warned and commanded to appear In
this court on or before the 24th day of
February, A. It. 1311. at ten o'clock A, M..
and continue in attendance until the court
shall halo made Its final order ratifying and
confirming the award of damages and the
assessment of benefits of the Jury to be em
paneled and sworn herein; and it Is further
ordered that a copy of this notice and order
bo published once In the Washington Law
Reporter, and twice a week for two succes
