It is an up-to-the-minute play, dealing with matters of present day moment, and though it has the large application of its title and this thesis .. -effectually dealt with, it is nevertheless a big, commanding woman's play. Unusual short subjects surround the chief attraction, such as the Rialto News, a laughable Lloyd comedy, and with topics of the day. In addition the Rialto Symphony Orchestra of thirty pieces renders an excellent overture, together with a violin solo, "Bubbles," by Daniel Brceskin, conductor. COLUaiBIA. Although most of us are still try ing to .find the secret, the Columbia management claims to offer a real suggestion as to how it is "Easy to Make Money" in the presentation of the feature film of that title starring Bert L.ytellt which is to be shown there for four days beginning today As Jimmy Slocum, son of a wealthy New Yorker, Lytcll. is seen in the part of a speed demon of the smart set and a champion spender of his father's money. As the last moans of causing him to settle down, Jimmy' father" bets him $25.000, that he will AMUSEMENTS be arrested more than once within the year. If Jimmy loses the bet he agree.f to pay his father $1 0,000 and agrees not to attempt to borrow the money,- but will earn it. Jimmy is immediately arrested for smashing up a barroom. For this he succeeds in getting a year's sentence in Jail. Dur ing his stay there he makes some peculiar ecquaintanccs. They come into his life a, little later. Upon being released he claims the wager and starts out to prove to his father that it is "Easy to Make Money." Pecu liarly enough does he prove.
