KK.HT THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED AND thirty-two fans packed the American League Ball Park yesterday afternoon to watch the Marine Corps and Navy Yard teams repro duced the first world series game in New York. Photo shows only a portion of the big crowd that packed the Georgia avenue park. JOE BUSH, of the New York Yankees, pitched a pretty good ball game, even though his team went down to defeat Out at the park yesterday this Navy Yard player showed up in good form when he reproduced the actions of the New York pitcher without the use of a baseball. HERE IIE IS! Plays part of Pitcher Art Nehf, of the New York Giants. This Is the ball player from the Marine Corps who represented the Giants at the local ball park. He was snapped warming up before tihe game. THERE WAS JUST AS much action in the game at the ball park here as there was in New York. The pic ture man caught this of R. Meusel as he was caught at third base in the fifth inning. BABE RUTH HIMSELF! The crowd gave this Navy Yard Yankee a big hand when Ihe got a single. He likewise was given the razz when he fanned at bat. DUGAN, OF THE New York Yankees is shown here scoring on Rutb's single. The crowd almost went wild when Dugan crossed the plate for the first run. LIEU T. CHARLES BEN TER and his Navy Yard hand were given a big hand by the fans yesterday. They played throughout the game. Benter scored a hit with "The Washington Times March." AS FAST AS THE TELEGRAPH wires from New York sent out every move of the world series game these men sat in the dugout in the ball park and took them down on the typewriter. They recorded every ball pitched and provided each ball player with his reproduction orders. The typewriters in the picture never stopped clicking until the game was called.
