HITLER ENDS BOYCOTT
BERLIN, April 4 (I.NJS.).—The
anti-Jewish boycott which gripped
Germany on Saturday will not be
resumed tomorrow, it was official
ly announced this afternoon by
the cabinet of Chancellor Adolf
hitler.
When the boycott was first an
nounced by the National Socialist
(Nazi) party plans called for a
“pause” from sundown Saturday
until 10 a. m. Wednesday.
Hitler made known at the time
that the boycott would not be re
sumed if assurances were received
that the "anti-German propaganda
campaign” in foreign countries
had ended.

planning to establish a “National
Protestant Church” with the pur
pose of removing State churches.

paper Tageblatt carried on its
front page a purported message
from Dr. S. Parkes Cadman, of
New York, president of the
Protestant Church Association of
America, assuring Germany
American Protestants were in
sympathy with the new National
ist Germany.
Research Man Pleads
Guilty to Larceny
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., April 4.
Kenneth Kerr Donley, formerly
of the Harvard Economic Re
search Association, today pleaded
guilty to 17 counts of larceny
in connection with a stock sell
ing scheme alleged to have cost
investors a half million dollars.

he had asked for some old clothes.
Hilldrup, attached to the Ninth
precinct, questioned a Northeast
address Little gave as his home
and the colored man is said to
have drawn a razor.

George w. Merck, of Rahway,
N. J., representing pharmaceutal
manufacturers who produce 80
per cent of all narcotics in the
United States, gave wholehearted
support to the measure.

soon by installation of four ad
ditional high-powered lights in
each subway, Walter E. Kern,
District electrical engineer, re
vealed today.
In the K Street subway four
lights will bum all day and eight
at night. Cost of installation will
be borne by the Washington
Terminal Company.
