The dead body of a man was found Monday
night at tho t>5 mile station, on tho canal above
Harper’s Kerry. He was completely riddled
with shot by some pcrsi n, and t:io report of
the gnu was distinctly heard on tho opposito
side of tho river, and s- me parties coming over
next morning found the dead body covered
with leaves.
