fogisil fxti i1rroo. Blaine. We take the following editorial para graphs from a single issue of the Sunday Gazette—% stalwart Republican paper pub lished in Washington City and advocating the election of Harrison and Morton. Read 'em—they are rich : The Stalwarts will sufFTy drop out unless Blaine goes to the rear. Does Blaine ow u the Republican party . Not by a large majority. Hill is nominated for the governorship ot New York, and the probabilities are that he will be elected. Matt Quay and other Blaineites don’t seem to consider that Levi P. Morton is en titled to decent treatment. The political problem in New ^ ork can not be solved until the value of the un known factor, Prohibition, is known. We wouder if General Harrison realizes that he and not James G. Blaine is the Re publican candidate for the Presidency ? A little more of Harrison and not so much of Blaine, is what the G. O. P. needs —and needs badly—in the present cam paign. “Fry-Fat” Foster’s begging circular is another evidence of the inefficiency and mismanagement ot the Republican National Executive Committee under the control of Matt Quay aud other Blaineites. There is no denying the fact that there i a serious row in the Republican camp, and unless the Blaineites step at once to the rear Grover Cleveland will be the next President of the United Stales. This i> not pleasant news to the Republicans, but it’s true all the same. There are enough Republicans in the North opposed to Blaine fir-t, last, and all the time, who will vote for Cleveland if Blaine is kept at the front as he is now, and whoso vote* will give Cleveland Connecti cut. New York, New Jersey, Michigan, In diana, ami probably Illinois aud Wisconsin. This is uo time for hero worship, espe ciany wnen me nero is ioumi upon exami nation to be below the measurement uot only of heroes but of honest manhood. If the Republican party cannot succeed with out making a little God on wheels of Jim Blaine then it ought to be aud will be damned. Too much Blaine and loo little Harrison in this campaign. Come, General, and as sert yourself. Make the Blaineite- take a back seat. Even it you are defeated there by, it is better, far better to be beaten while fighting an honest tight for principle than to he victorious by surrendering honor, truth and hom-t manhood to unscrupulous and irredeemable corruption. •• The colored female o ok of a family liv ing at the South End came up-.-tairs the other afternoon, and, twi-ting up the corners of her apron with considerable embarrass ment, said to her mistress: "You -ee, mi—us, I thought it moughtbe be-’ to be te’lin’ y. ti dat I—dat 1 done got married las’ week." “Ah. imbed! Then it a Cure for Everything. EACHUS’ HOG CHOLERA. CURE AND PREVENTIVE! (Patented April 27, 1SSS.) To the Public.—We wish to say that this great and only remedy is not the result of any chances, neither is it a nostrum for speculation, but has been experimented with and thorough ly tested for two years prior to our purchasing it. The man wlio first used it was Moses Frantz, who had charge of a herd of 2500 hogs in 1S84 800 or these died with cholera. Mr. Frantz and Mr. Eachus experimented in every conceivable manner to check the ravages of the disease, dissecting many dead hogs, and compounding many prescriptions, until they happily hit upon a remedy. Before Mr. I rantz could put his remedy before the p-ople he died from blood poisoning, brought on by cutting up dead hogs which had died with cholera. He left all his trifling worldly effects to Mr. Eachus, who had not the necessary means to put it before the public, and who was anxious that some of his old friends should have it. When Mr. Eachus came here we had little taitn in his cure, but, after testing it in many severe cases at home—notably, Mr. Rhodes and .Ir. Felteberger’s—we became convinced beyond doubt that it was all he claimed for it. bmee then we have used it in many severe cases, and the result is before the public. Not a sin gle hog has died which we treated, and in no case have anv taken it when fed this remedy. It will cure Hog Cholera, it will prevent Hog Cholera.) We have been at heavy expense placing a cure before the people, and now only ask that they appreciate our efforts by giving it a trial. , . It will pay you to feed it it your hogs are well. It wiB kill every manner of louse, insect life in hog. trichinae not excepted. It will Kilt everv nit and louse on the hog. It will cleanse vour hog of scruff or mange. It will increase the appetite five-fold. It is just what every body has been looking for. HOG CHOLERA! The disease gets its origin from a low order of insect life—on and in the animal. There is in the medicine an ingredient which extermi nates insects and nits, both internally and ex ternally. . . i • The kidneys do not act properly, which is also provided for. Dissecting hundreds of hogs has shown that mortification always sets in before death, which is prevented by an antiseptic. Ninety-seven per cent, of hogs afllicted are constipated. To obviate this, the medicine contains a laxative and resolvent. In the other three nor cent, the bowels pre found to be loose, which is overcome by the use of Tincture of Opium with the medicine, as per directions on the bottle. The medicine also contains a powerful tonic to build up the debilitated condition of the hog. I’KICE, $1.00 PER QUART BOTTLE.
