LIVES SAVED BY TELEPHONE. One Man Drank Poison, and Another Severed Pour Arteries Within the last several days two lives have been saved over the telephone. Rev. J. W. Lentz, of Criders, a Brethren minister, took poison by mistake tor his medicine. No physician being here, his family got instruction irom a distant physician. Antidotes were administered and his lite was saved. William Mionich, in Pendleton county tried to cut a bullet from the breach of a gun. The knife slipped and severed four arteries in his wrist. He was in danger of bleeding to death. Dr. Moyers, at Oak Rat, six miles away, gave instructions over the 'phone. Another life was saved. Mr. Mionich is 76 years old.
