Harriet Monroe, of Chicago. 15.000 damages

the Now York World of the ode which
Miss Monroe had written for the dedication
ceremonies of the World'* Columbian
Exposition in ISM. It wan alleged
by the complainant in this action that
pertain errors which appoared in the
unauthorised publication of her ode
were damaging to her' reputation as a
writer. Miss Monro* obtained a verdict
