O., In tho southern part bf Tyler county, states that the Victor Oil & Gas Company has made the best Big Injun strike on record In this country. It Is said that the hourly, production of the well to-night Is 120 barrels, which makes It the banner Big Injun well In the history of the oil business In America. May 4.?At the present time Indian Creek Is the center of attraction and the developments are very encouraging. There were two good well* brought In to-day the first being Guffy & Company's No. 7 on the Pitts farm, which reached the pay about 11 o'clock this morning and Immediately started off at the rate of ten barrels an hour. It Is thought Its production Willie Incivased when It Is drilled deeper Into the pay. The other well drilled In was the Victor OH & Gas Company's No. 2 on the Stealy farm, near Wick; It reached the pay about four o'clock this afternoon, and according to advices received this evening, It Is making a llttJe better than ten barrels an hour. The name company's well on the Gibbon farm was drilled In and is allowing for better than 100 barrels a day. The Kanawha Oil Company's well on the Qulnn furm which was drilled In Saturday morning. In the vicinity of Wick Postofflce. and started off at twenty barrels an hour. Is holding up as well u* could be expected and has had a decided tendency to stimulate operations in th.it district. The developments In the neighborhood of Hebron arc attracting considerable attention since the Victor Oil & Gus Company drilled Its well In on the Smith farm, which is good for about 200 barrels a day. Preparations for drilling In that section are being rushed with all possible speed. The Victor Oil Company's well on the Julia Groves farm, which was drilled in Saturday and started off at thirty-five barrels an hour, Is still maintaining this rate, much to the pleasure of its owners.
