The regular winter meeting: of the Wheeling Presbytery of the United Presbyterian church, was held yesterday In the church at Itoney's Point, In this county, with a large and representative attendance from the churches 1n the presbytery, which Includes the Weit Virginia Pan Handle, eastern Ohio ami western Pennsylvania. The Wheeling 1* church was represented by Rev. J. H. Llttell and Prof. Stevenson. The meeting was organized by the election of Rev. W. P. Shaw, as moderator. Rev. R. L. Warnoek, of Cleveland (Ohio) presbytery, was Invited to sit at 0 the meeting as a corresponding member. The resignation of Rev. Edgar CJ. Bailey, of the Martin's Ferry congregation, was presented to t?he presbytery and accepted. The Rev. Dr. Campbell was J designated to preach at the Martin's Per- u ry church on the fourth Sunday of De- > cember (the 26th) and declare the pulpit t vacated. [ Rev. R. B.
