The Past Master of Franklin Lodge, No 96, will
deliver a lecture to-night befoie tho fraternity, at
Masonic Hall.
THE THEATEE.-Tho sensational drama,
"After Dark," was rendered in most excellent style
hst night. The acting generally was better tban
the "Gilberts" have dono since thc advent of the
troupe. Mr. Sutton eclipsed himself. Several new
scenes added much to die play. -Of course. Mr. and
Mrs. Watkins were, as usual, thc bright stars amid
the firmament ot obscurer lights, and centred tho
attention of the audience upon themselves. To-night
that powerful drama, "Iho Pioneer Patiiot; or, the
Maid of the War Path." will bo givon. This drama
was played over oue thousand timos irr Europe by
Mr. and Mrs. Watkins, and everywhere met with
extraordinary s-ucc BS.
