TZSZ PaE??JKNT ON THE JfiPPEOT OP |
THE ELECTIONS.-The Washington
. correspondent of the Boston Adver?
tiser, ut his despatches of Wednes
; day evening, says:
"The President has been visited
by a large number of persons to-day,
and, judging by the reports, he
seems to have expressed himself quite
freely. He is stated to have said,
. Among other things, that one result
of the elections would be the de?
feat of the convention policy in all
the Southern States where the whites
' haye a registered majority; that New
York will certainly go against the
Republicans in November; that im
; peach ment is as. dead as radicalism;
and that.the people have declared
their confidence in him and his policy
in a most unmistakable manner.
The Asheville News arid Farmer
, mentions the arrival in that town of a
' .family of Swiss emigrants, who were
induced tb go to Buncombe by a
wealthy : and intelligent gentleman
from Switzerland, who has been so?
journing in the mountains. The
' Nexus says: 'These emigrants are of
, the right sort. They aro not picked
up promiscuously, but come among
us endorsed as intelligent and respect?
able farmera, and by a proper en- {
couragement from our people, may
bo made to form a nucleus around
Which thousands of similar pee pie
would undoubtedly gather in a very I
short time.
THE WORKING PEOPLE.-It is re?
ported that a reduction of 10 per I
cent, in the wages of some of the
/Hartford (Connecticut) faotory em?
ployes has been rendered necessary
by the dullness of business. Similar
dullness in trade is reported from
Great Britain, and it is stated that no
less, than twenty to thirty thousand
_ men connected with the iron trade
\ on the Clyde have been thrown out
of employment, owing to the success?
ful competition of foreign with the
home manufacture of the British
Isles.

MORE TESTIMONY IN FAVOR OF J
Heinitsh'a Queen's Delight.
EXTRACTS FROM LETTERS: "Tho
Queen's Delight is beginning to
awaken the attention of our physicians.
Its remarkable curative power is seen In *
its wonderful effect upon disease. As a
blood purifier, there is no medicine like it
known to tho profession. A gentleman
told me that his son has been taking-the
Queen's Delight, and is more benefited by
it than by any other medicine. He wanui
a dozen bottles."
Extract from a letter: "It is duo to you
to state in this public manner, in order
that the people may know the truth, that
I have tried your Queen's Delight, and
found it not only what you said it was-"a
pure medicine"-but the best medicine I
nave ever taken for eruption? and general
bad hoalth. I had an eruption all over my
body, with impaired digestion and diaor- .
dered liver, and havo tried a great many
modicines without any benefit. I have
taken one bottle of your Queen's Delight,
th? eruption has disappeared, my appetite
is better, my liver and digestion is im?
proved. I am satisfied one or two mora '
bottles will cure me."
Extract from a letter: "At the close of .
the war, my constitution was shattered. I <
could not eat, sleep or perform any doty
whatever, such was my prostrate condi?
tion. Medicino and medical aid I had in
abundance, euch was my condition up to a
few months since, when I began the nee of
Jour Queen's Delight. I have used two
ottlcB, my constitution is greatly im
Sroved, my appetite is good, enjoy refresh
ig sleep, and ara able to perform my share
of dailv labor."
Extract from a letter-Wonderful effect
of only one bottle: "I have used only a
half bottle of 'Queen's Dolicht' for bolla
and eruptions of the skin and itching ha?
more of the blood, which annoyed me tetf
much. I ara entirely cured. I think your
medicino a valuable ono."
A remarkable case of Uver complaint and
headache cured by the use of "Heinitsh'a
Queen's Delight:" A lady of unquestioned
worth and reputation voluntarily gives tes?
timony of tho wonderful offsets of thia 1
medicine. She has been from early yo&rs
a martyr to headaches, caused by imper?
fect action of the Uver, producing intenso
headache and pain over the eyes. She has
taken only four bottles, and *??nr?? n?
tl.v ^u.Tvvl i?io it nae made. She now en?
joys good health.
Still another: "During last spring. I bad
been troubled with obstinate chills nnd
lever, whioh, when oured, left my system
in a wretched condition, blood imputo, and
I was afflicted with an angry, and, as I at
ono time thought, an incurable, cutaneous
emption over my on tir o body. The most
violent remedies suggected failed to work
a cure, until, at the instance of a friend, I
tried Dr. Hoinitsh's Quern's Delight. Less
than two bottles cured me, leaving my skin,
in a healthy condition. My general hoalth
is as good as ever. Tor such purposes, I
have, ever since my euro, unhesitatingly
recommended your Queen's Delight."
