A negro got himself into si bad fix in
fha criminal coori of Memphis the other
day, by going inside tba bar to sympa?
thize with i some friends who had been
Oondemued to the ponerentiary. Daring
.he excitement of breaking op oonrt at
t o'olook, he waa not'noticed going into
sha prisoners' oorner, bot when the time
.ame for removing the penitential y
hirds, the sympathizing negro had to
anaroh off to jail with the others, bis
lond protests and violent gestores being
withont avail.
The more fractions of the prisoners
Eat to work on the streets of Mobile
ave ao immense spur attached to each

Price, $45 Cash with Usual Advance for Time.
EXPERIENCE in the r.so of thia GUANO
for the paal six years in this State for
Cotton and Corn, baa ao far established its
.haraotor for exoellence as to render com?
ment unnecessary.
In accordance with the establish ed policy of |
the Company, to furnish the beat Concentrat?
ed Fertilizer at the lowest cost to consumers. ?
this Guano 1B put into market this season at
the above reduced price, which the Company
ia enabled to do by reason of ita large facili?
llos and the reduced cost of manufacture.
The supplies put into market this season
are, aa heretofore, prepared under the per?
sonal superintendence of Dr. Bt. Julien Rave
neb Cbemiat of the Company, at Oharleaton,
S.O.; henoe planters may rest assured that
Us quality and composition ls precisely the
same aB that heretofore sold.
At the present low price, every acre planted

could its application fail to compensate for
the outlay. Apply to J. N. ROBSON.
