The Cuba Slavr Trade. The slave trade in Cuba shows no signs of decadence, but on tho contrary, if any reliance is to be placed upon private advices from Havana, continues to be prosecuted with unabated vigor. Hitherto the trade has been confined to sail vessels, but now it is proposed to introduce steam into the trade, and accordingly the steamship 1'ajaro del Occano, built 111 New York several years since, but now owned in Cuba, is soon to make a voyage from Havana to tho coast of Africa. The Herald says she has been trans ferred to a joint stock company, if we are well informed,with a capital of $300,000.— One-half of this amount is to bo paid for tho steamship, $10,000 for "gratifications" in Cuba, $4'J,U00 to secure a celebrated slave captain, $30,000 for the crew, nnd the remainder for the purchase of 2,000 negroes, and contingent expenses.
