kane. Our hunting and fishing pal,
Ernest Tingey, reUred from his

Nimrod where he has been

the past nine years,
this district from Big Sandy in
1923 and has been with the rail
road for 25 years. Now' he plans
to take an extensive trip into Can
ada and the Eastern states before
settling at Spokane. We regret
losing these old timers from our;
community as we have found that
their place is never truly filled by
another.
Ban Huffine quit the goat bus
iness this week.The mountain goat
died Sunday. By examination the
boys decided she had been injured
in the lungs and probably by a car
the highway.since she was in
such a weakened condition .
Mrs. Lyle Gee spent the weekend
visiting the Burhane family at
Port Hill Idaho.
Wednesday Bon King went to
Whitefish and brought Barbara
and the baby back home.

general public that there are no
restrictions of any kind on lots sold
in South Fork. There was an at
tempt made to restrict the type of
business which could be erected
here but that restriction could not
be enforced.

Old age assistance payments
will be made to 555 Flathead coun
ty residents during April. Cases
will average $37.99 from a total
of $21,086. The aid to dependent
children's program will assist 167
children with an average payment
of $77.33 per family and $26.39
per child, while 10 blind persons
will be receiving assistance, aver
aging $37.50 a case.
