LaSalle Briefs
The LBK club met September
27 at the home of Mrs. Nellie Ol
sen with Mrs. Florence Leach, as
sistant hostess. There were 19
members and one new member.
Mrs. Charles Powell, present. Rod
call was responded to with a lunch
box suggestion. After routine bus
iness was disposed of Mrs. Doris
Richards and Mrs. Rose Voelkcr
gave reports on the County Fed
eration meeting. A card was read
from Darrell Larson thanking the
club for packages sent him. New
programs for the coming year's
work were distributed and ex
plained.
"Window treatments" was the
project for the afternoon present
ed by Dorothy Eklund and Ra
mona Jellison. The October meet-1
ing will be a continuation of this
with Anna Graham and Marie
Graham hostesses October 27.
Serving of refreshments by the
hostesses concluded the afternoon.
Mrs. Cora Larson was at Big
fork last weekend attending the
Lutheran church convention.
Mrs. Ted Homan entertained
her mother and sister at Sunday
dinner recently.
Mr and Mrs. G. W. Eklund nd
Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Eklund and
daughter, Sharon, visited relatives,
in Spokane last weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Kilpatrick
and family returned from their
visit in the south and are living in
Kalispell. Mr. Kilpatrick is with
Walt Woods Insurance Co.
Mrs. Nora Graham, Whitefish,
is a visitor at the Lloyd Graham
home.
Neighbors are glad to hear that
Darrel Larson is recovering very

Eva Hallam, Dodson, is staying
at the Elmer Olsen home while
attending high school in Kalispell.
Mrs. Grace Hepburn and Leslie
Steele, Edmonton, Alberta,
ed Mr. and Mrs. Norman Borgen
for a month. Mr. Steele is a bro
ther of Mrs. Borgen. Mrs. Hep
bum is her aunt. .
Mrs. Roma White has gone to
Excelsior Springs, Mo., for med
ical care.

in Missouri for a checkup and is
expected home soon.
