church in this city have signed
liquor petitions.

Nineteen members of the Epis
copal church in this city have sign
ed liquor petitions.
"I expect a great many profess
ing Christians will be astonished
when they get to heaven to find
how God Almighty can run the ce
lestial city without a few saloons to
keep up the taxes." Sam Jones.
Forty-one members belonging to
the four principal white churches
in this city have signed liquor peti
tions. Fresh, fat oysters today and
every day now at L. S. Black's,
city market.
