From a gentleman who lives in Leavenworth, and who was In tbe city a day or two since, the lady learned that her husband was here, and she hal tbe warrant Issued, in the hope that hn would be found, and that she might recover what she could from him. MORE FAKMEKS WASTED I KAJTSAH. National Greenback Monitor, SO We want more farmers and more Improved farms in this county. We have .one of the best agricultural counties in tbe State, and we need thorough-going farmers, men who can and will make money out of the prod ucts of the earth. There is no more Inde pendent position than to rely npon tbe pro ductiveness or the soil and or your own strength. These are the foundations from which spring the living of every man, wom an and child. Farmers are said to be the sdt of tbe land. They certainly are the pro ducers of the saving properties. To farm well is a science. Not a science learn ed trom books but from actual ex perlence. ilnch can be learned however, by farmers publishing their expe rience through tbe agency of the press,- or otherwise. Let as have more practical far mers and our towns and village will in. crease accordingly, and oar county will soon become one of tbe most populous and pro ductlve in tbe State. Manufacturing inter ests will Increase and trade become tally de veloped ir sustained and built up by pros perous farming community. Let as have more farmers and better cultivated farms, for herein Ilea tbe wealth of the county. A SUDDEN DEATH IN A CUCKCH. Humboldt Inter Bute, SO.
