John R. Hurlburt, situated 2 miles cast of the
Congregational church at South Canaan, and 3 1-8
miles from the Housatonic railroad depot at Falls
village. Conn., consisting of 230 acres; 89 1-2 of
which is wood and sprout land, the greater uro-
portion of the sprouts about 25 years old, the re.
maindcr well divided into plow, pasture and mead
ow land, with plenty of orcharding and fruit and
a beautiful maple grove which will yield each year
an abundance of sap for making sugar: well
watered by a splendid trout brook running the
entire length of the farm, and beautiful living
springs, with buildings well iocatcd, consisting of
a dwelling house, cheese and wood house ; 3
barns, 2 cow houses, shop, milk house, and a
never failing spring boiling np from the center
of the vat which is large enough to contain 10
milk cans, also a good cistern with chain pump,
and a never failing spring of water running near the

Piano Tor Sale.
I HAVE now on hand, a seven and one third oc
tave, Parlor Grand piano, which has been used
a very little, but not nearly enough to make it
deserve to be called second hand. It's tone and
power Is far superior to the square piano. This
piano I will self at a very low figure. This is a rare
opportunity to get a very superior instrument at a
moderate price, uaii at my residence in Ames
ville (Falls Village) and see it.
