ROORBACKS. Chairman Bishop Has Already Nailed. One. False Story Circulated In to Candidate Charles W. Reference Kempef. Chairman Ed. H. Bishop of the Democratic County Executive Com mittee issued the following state ment today: "Eleventh hour roorbacks flour ished during the Dobsonian era in Summit county politics. People generally believed that the practice had ended when he was forced out of the councils of the Democratic party. JSot so however. This tact is evi denced by the story which is being circulated today by the friends of Judge Geo. M. Anderson, ft is claimed by these men that Charles W. Kempel, Democralic candidate for representative, is trad ing votes with Anderson for votes for himself. This is an absolute false hood. Mr. Kempel and the Demo cratic committee are working for the success of the entire ticket. No one man has been, or will be, sacrificed in the interests of another. Ever since the beginning of the campaign the county organization has been working faithfully for every man on tho ticket. "The chances for Democratic vic tory were never better than they aTe today. If all Democrats will do their duty tomorrow, the entire county ticket will he elected snd a glorious victory will be won for the party of the people. Democrats should be on their guard for "roorbacks." Voters who believe that Summit county's officers are elected and paid to attend to the County's business, instead of to organize themselves into lobbying commissions to defeat the passa ge of Salary bills or to assist in franchise grabs, should vote the Democratic county ticket next Tuesday.
