Union Held-an Enjoyable Rally. A 6teady downpour Friday evening did not decrease materially the attend ance at the C. E. rally In the Centra1! Presbyterian church nor diminish the enthusiasm of tho members. The audi torium was filled and the greater por tion of the Sunday school room adjoin ing. The church was prettily decorat ed, with C. E. pennants and long stream ers boaring the C. E. colors. The pul pit was surrounded by palms. Delegations were present from the C. E. societies of tho first Church of Christ, Wabash Ave. Church of Christ, Brpad St. Church of Christ. Grace Reformed, United Evangelical, First Presbyterian, Central Presbyter Ian, West Congregational, First Bap tist, United Brethren and St. Paul's Lutheran. The banner for having the best rep resentation was won easily by the Central Presbyterian society. This is the third time that this society has captured tho banner for having the best attendance at rallies of the un ion. Miss Maud Jones Is president of the society.
