1 1 THE MEDINA SENTINEL, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 39, 1914. t T v f V V : , POLITICAL ADVERTISEMENT VOTE FOR TO w n-nr AM r rhmi u yayuw L9 OF WADSWORTH m of Republican Candidate for County Survey 0 NOW SERVING FIRST TERM Brunswick. Ohio October 21, 1914 To Whom It May Concern: The undersigned Town ship Trustees of Brunswick Township, in the construc tion of two miles of brick pavement employed Wm. F. Peters, present County Sur veyor, to have charge of the same. 'We found him thoroughly ' competent and would state that we are satMed with the services rendered. C. H. Newton F. E. Leinseder C. W. Damon To Whom It May Concern: We, the undersigned Trus tees of Litchfield Township, having had William F. Peter?, Courty Surveyor, in charge of construction of two and one hilf miles of concrete pave ment, wou'd cay that we have found him to 'be experienced and reliable. His services have been very sasfactory lind we gladly recommend him. Willis E. Leach D. Foote Dell Eaken To Whom It May Concern: The ur.dei signed, Trustees of Homer Township, have constructed IVi miles of water-bound macadam road the past year under the di rection of County Survey or Peters. His work has been satisfactory in every way and we are pleased to recommend him. J. Nolt W, M. Owen Silas Weidman Mr. Peters is a young man who has proved his qualifications for the office and has administered the office with his face set against anything like graft and with a sole view to efficiency and honest work. Some contractors arehotly opposed to him, which fact the voters are not likely to construe to his detriment. Mr. Ganyard is seeking a third term of the office. On his campaign cards he has printed: "I ask for justice." Why he should do this is not exactly clear, as he has had six years of this office, and he certainly is not better equipped for it than Mr. Brintnall or Mr. Peters. On the score of his entire fitness and on the principle that one good term deserves another, our judgment is that Mr. Peters should be re-elected county surveyor. Medina Gazette, October 23, 1914. ' The assertion which appeared th G,ette', the poilticalyj aexless news paper of Medina last Fjtidaj that mj candidacy for Common Pleas Judge is merely specious and with the view of aiding Owens at! the expense of McClure is palpably vindictive?; "My iJUposition is li ignore the statement, but on account of the wide circulation of this newspaper, I am compelled to speak and I herewith ,make. irehement denial, and charge this news paper with unfair, and malicious political methods. I believe in the principles of the Republican party; waa,,nomniated by petition; have not claimed that I was anything but. Republican to any voter of the county, no matter from what part they came; am therefore the only Republican that' is a candidate for Common Pleas Judge, and it would be much preferable to. me to be unknown, untried and have the truth on my side, than to be elected a judge of the Court of Common Pleas. Wherefore I say to the voters of Medina County that I will appreciate the favor of your vote November 3, 1914, but if for any reason you cannot give me that vote I shall not be sore or aour, nor call any person harsh hames for I have not gone over the county button-holeing and asking pledges of voters, for in my Judgment it is beneath the dignity of the Office which I seek. wvuiiik vn ui (irr-i DSiurasr OI BAD- tmbar. rOetoh. m.w -uk rlU liar, and om tha laat rrMi X Oeo.
