Tietjen Monday even ing in honor of the 7th birth-day of little Lillie Tietjen. It was a genuine surprise af fair and the thoroughly happy time following impressed the child that so far life with her is a pleasing dream. Tom- my, as he was more f armiliarly known, had been a sufferer from that fell disease, con sumption, for a number of years, and at the time of his death was in the 23rd year of his age. He was a young man of exemplary habits, and7 just before the messenger of death entered his chamber he exclaimed "all is well," closed his eyes and passed peace fully away.
