Faded or am a Jr 1 i hair is soon restored ipl.'l 2.$ M M original ro.'or " J?w i 'J-y'-i freshness of youth. C" Thin Lair "is thick ened, falling hair checked, and bald ness often, though not always, cured br it use. Nothing can restore the luiir where the follicles are destroyed, orthe glauds atrophied and decayed. Bui such as remain can be saved for UPefuluess by this application. Instead of fouling the hair with a pasty sedi tment, it will keep it clean and vigorous. Its occasional use will prevent the hair from turning gray or falling off, and consequently prevent baldness. Free from those deleterious substances which make some preparations dangerous and injurious to the hair, the Vigor can only beneCt but not harm it. If wanted merely for a HAIR DRESSING, Bothiug else can be found so desirable. Containing neither oil nor dye, it does not soil white cambric, and yet lasts long ou the hair, giving it a rich glossy lustre and a grateful perfume. Prepared by Or. J. C. A writer in the Journal of ¬ ture says : Last winter I had a lot of fine rye, which I could not sell at a remunerative price, uence i conciuueu to feed it to the horses instead of corn, which was $1 a bushel. First I had the rye ground, mixed the meal with cut onts. moistened with hot water. and fed at the rate of about three half bushels boskets a day to each horse. The animals kent in tolerable condi' tion. but did not improve as much as I desired. Besides the miller's toll wa3 much heavier than I liked. then commenced cooking the whole rye in a large iron caldron, set in brick. One bushel of rve with ft ur or five buckets (about eleven cations) of wa ler, and seasoned with a handful of salt, were cooked wttn very ntue nee in the afternoou for next day's feed ing, and fed at the rate of five quarts of the cooked mess a meal. I observed this : that one bushel of rve uncooked will give six meals, and when cooked twelve; that the un cooked grain is verv lnipenectly di gested and requires hogs to follow the horses, and the cooked grain i com pletely digested ; that the horses rap idly gain nesti, not in lat, ana enjoy excellent health. I follow this prac tice still am feeding now, wheat which costs 70 cents a bushel, and find the trouble and extra labor of cooking the feed every other day very small. A boy ten years generally manages the whole operation inside or nail an hour. Ill health is often generated by bad treatment of the feet. The pores are not repellants, but absorbents, aud this foMid matter, to a greater or less extent, is taken back into the system. The feet should be washed every day with pure water only, as well as the arm-pits, from which an offensive odor is also emitted, unless daily ablu tion is practi ced. A'ew Advertisements.
