Mrs. Kathcrlne Gempeler, aged seventy jears, died Tuesday forenoon at the home of her imusmer, Mrs. Rosa Dyer, on East Main, street. Death was due to a com plication of ailments The deceased as boru In Switzerland. She was twice married, the husbands being Gottlieb Schmidt and Jacob Gempcl tr, both of whom are deceased. Of the first marriage tho following children survive: Jacob Schmidt of Canton, John Schmidt and Mrs. Rosa nyer of Alliance. Of the second marriage there is one son. Oottfred Gempeler of Canton. Funeral services will 1p held Friday afternoon at the homo at 3.30 and at Christ's Reformed church at 2 o'clock. Friends may view the remains Thursday evening. College Term Opens.
