stimulates the kidneys to an excessive secretion of
water. Many persons suiter Irom tins diKea. wno

if. : Ayer's Sarsaparilla .,
is comn'onnded from tho most cfTcctunl anti
dotes tlint medical science has discovered for
this afflicting distemper, and for the cure of :he
disorders it entails; . .That It is for superior to
any other remedy yet doviscd, is known by all
who havo given it a trial. That it does com
bino virtues truly extraordinary in their cfTcct
upon this class of complaints, is indisputably
proven by the great' multitude of publicly
known .and remarkable cures it hat made of
tho following diseases : King's Evil ' or
Glandular Swellings, Tumors, Erup
tions, Pimples, Blotches and Sores, Ery
sipelas, Rose or St Anthony's Fire, Salt
Rheum, Scald Head, Coughs from tu
berculous deposits in the lungs, White
Swellings, Debility, Dropsy, Neuralgia,
Syspopaia or Indigestion, Syphilis ana
Syphilitic Infections, Mercurial Diseases,
Female Weaknesses, nnd, indeed, tho wholo
series of complaints that nriso from impurity
of the blood. Minute reports of individual
cnes may bo found in Ayf.k's American
Almanac, which is furnished to tho druggists
for gratuitous distribution, wherein mny bo
learned the directions for its use, nnd come of
the remarkable, cures which it hns made when
all other remedies had furled to ntl'ord relief.
Those cases are purposely taken from all sec
tions of the country, in oilier fhnt every render
may havo access to some one who can speak to
him of its tanofits from personal experience.
Scrofula depresses the vital energies, und thus
leaved its victims far more subject to disease
and its fatal roaults than are healthy constitu
tions. Jlcncc, it tends to shorten, and docs
greatly shorten, tho average duration of humcn
lifj. The vast importance of these considera
tions lias led us to spend years in perfecting a
remedy which is adcqnnte to its cure. , This
wc now offer to tho public under the name of
Avk.r's Sarsapahilla, although it is com
posed of ingredients, some of which exceed the
host of Sarsniai-Hla in alterative power. By
its aid you mny protecj yourself from the suffer
ing mid danger of these disorders, l'urge out
the foul corruptions that rot and fester in the
blood ; purge oat the ennses of disease, nnd
vigorous health will follow. By its peculiar
virtues this remedy stimulates the vital func
tions, nnd thus expels the distempers which
lurk "within the system or burst out on any
part ot it. - .
We know the public have hcen deceived by
many compound of SirmutriUa, that promised
much nnd did nothing; but they will neither be
deceived nor disappointed in this, lu virtues
have been proven by nhnndant trial, and there
remuins no question of its surpassing excellence
for the cure of the afflicting diseases it is in.
(ended to reach.' Althongh under the same
name, it is very different medicine from nnr
other which lias liccn before the peoplo, and is
fur more effectual than any other which has
ever been available to them. , .
