OFFICE, next door west of Thomas Hogg's store, corner room, up stairs . Cadiz, May 18th, 1813. LAW rilACTICE A W. ItlOKltlSON, Attorney and Counsellor r . at Law, and Solicitor in Chancery. Office, a little west of the Office of the Crisis, in the house former ly occupied by O. W. Chapman, Esq. Cnrrollton, apr 18 sitnrg Tlie EJgeu'oi'tli Ladies' Seminary, SEVVICKLY, ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA., FORMERLY AT HUADDOCK's Fl 1311)3. AGREEABLY to usage, it is respectfully announ ced that the summer half year's session will com mence on the first Monday in May next. The Principal lakes occasion to say, that in tho ef fects of the revulsion in trade which has been felt all over the country, the "Edgoworth" has been a partici pant, and comparatively, a pause in its doings has been the consequence. But in order to turn this partial cessation to the best account, tho opportunity it afforded has leen employed to introduce w hatever of change and improvement lias been deemed calculated to render this Seminary addi tionally acceptable to its friends, and advantageous to pupils. Of these, particular attention is requested to the fact, that it has been determined to keep down the cat alogue of pupils to such a number ns shall not require to be placed uneler secondary and irresponsible teach ers, but be fully within the scope of the utmost care and attention of the principals. THE TERMS, it is believed, arc as low as those of any similar institution: and, it may be added, that long experience has brought the conviction, that they cannot bo made lower consistently with the continuance of those advantages and comforts to which the young lu diesof the Edgeworth have been accustomed. Those who liave hitherto been pleased to take an in terest in this Seminary, may rest assured, that those principles and efforts, which have heretofore met their approval, shall not in the future be changed nor re laxed. Other particulars obtained on application to Mrs. J. M. Flower, whoso labors in the Edgoworth at its estab lishment in 1 827, and afterwarels for so many years, are well known ; or on application to the Rev. D. E. Nevin, President of tho Board of Trustees; or to J. OLVER, Principal. Sewickly, Allegheny county, Pa. opril 4 3t FEMALE SEMINARY. Tho Summer Ses sion will commence on the last Monday of April. The terms per quarter are, for eluy scholars, Primary Class ' .... $4,00 Middle " 5,00 Junior " .... 6,05 Senior " 7,50 with a deduction of ten per cent to those who pay for the session in advance. Extra brunches the same charge as lor boanters, with the abovo iletltiction. further in formation obtained of the Superinlendant. CHARLES C. BEATTY. Steubenvillo, March 21, (ap4) 1814. Milliner &.
