Review of Helper.
Gilbert J. Hhese, Esq., editor of the Banner
of Liberty, Middlutowu, New York, will in a few
days issue in pamphlet form his review of Helper's
Impending Crisis. Helper's Crisis will be the
great Black Republican document diiring tho com
ing contest, and every Democrat Should have
Beebe's i eview to meet them with. Wc have read
most of it aud wo dud that it not only reviews Hel
per but its telling truths and undeniablo statistics
completely crushes him out. It will be sent, post,
ago prepaid, to any part, of the United
States at tho following rates: Single copy, 25ets.;
5 copies $1 ; thirty copies $5; Ono hundred copies

Revival.
Tho protracted meeting at Rev. Mr. Knisely's
.Church, Lutheran, closed on Monday evening last.
Twenty-fivo were added to tho church during tho
week the meeting continued. Rev. Mr. Kniselv,
though quite a young man, is a very eloquent di
vine, and ho has in the short time he has been lo
cated at this place won tho coup deuce and esteem
of tho entire community.
Primary Election.
All who desire to bo candidates for nomination
at the Democratio Primary election, of Hardy
Township, in order to have their names on the
ticket for either Township or Corporation offices,
must hand their names in to us ou or before Fri
day, March 9.3d. Wo will expect each namo to
be accompanied with 2," cents to pay for printing
tickets. Let all candidate? remember this so that
there may bo uo Complaints if their names are not
on the ticket.
