Wat ers of the Kansas state agricultural college was today named a member of the executive committee of the Association of American Agricultur al College and Experimental Stations. The third meeting of the high school German club was held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon. After a few opening songs and a review of the minutes by the secretary, the second part of the fam us German novel, "Ekkehard," was given in English by Elizabeth Wyandt. A German story which was Illustrated with post cards was then told by Freda Marsh. Another short story by Meaze Sauer concluded the' ora torical exercises for the day. Mrs. Anna Ray, who, on October 24, 1913, shot and fatally wounded her husband, Geo. Ray, during a quarrel at the Ray farm, adjoining the city of Iola, was bound over for trial in the district court on the charge of murder in' the first degree by Justice G. M. Nelson.
