Editor John Connelly, the democratic
candidate for Congress in this district,
addressed the voters at Ellis Friday and
in Hays Saturday afternoon.
Cardidate t red Robertson of Atwood
visited our voters several days last
week and told them why they should
vote for him for State Senator from
this district. Thi-, Ellis, county is
conceded to him by 600 majority.
James Be ban for Representative.
Ja-nes Behan announces this week
his candidacy for Representative for
this county in fhe Legislature. He did
not ai-k the office, but now that the
people have piven him the J.or.or he
will make tho racrf and if you believe
in and want a continuance of 'he Roose
velt policies; if you want the interests
of your county and its state institutions
looked after and pushed, he asks your
vote at the polls on election day. He
is willing to give his two month's time
down there at the little pay allowed
for tha peoples' benefit, if they decide
to eleot him.
