American Legion News Service. 00000 The .Big Sixth District Convention The Sixth District Convention of The American Legion will be held at Hays, Saturday, April 29th. Ad miral Benson, the highest ranking of ficer of the U. S. Navy, will be the guest of the Legion. The Legion is very fortunate in securing this dis tinguished and great American as its guest of honor. General Metcalf, Commander of the State Legion, will also be present and a number of other prominent men. There will be Legionaires from all Western Kan sas and other parts of the state here in $rreat numbers. Ex-Srvice men of Ellis County, we want you to become Legion members before April 29th. You want to attend the Convention and you must be members to get in on this good program. The Sixth District Convention is bringing a message which every former service man in Western Kansas should hear. The Aux iliary has held several enthusiastic meetings recently and are planning a number of activities in the near future to help the Legion boys.
