Another important mining reported from ihe Aloudllnn deal is district ss hn h has resulted in the taking over nf lhe Hidden Link group of claims by the Molden Link Mining com puny, a Wisconsin corporation. According to the Milver City "Inde pendent'' the property involved con sists nl u uroup of efRht continuous claims, the same beintr the Molden Link Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, í, (i, T mid X. The eluims lie on I'pper Pry Creek in the Mogollón liange and are about twelve miles south of the town of Mogollón. The ore Is very similar In character to that which is now paying so hand somely m the operation of Ihe Krnes t no and Lilile l-'nnnie mines in that district. The values are exclusively in Id and silver, the former hein2 greatly in excess of the latter. In a 120 loot tunnel which has at tained a vertical depth of 75 feet, Hiere has been encountered a three foot vein which has an average value of $8 In gold. In another tunnel which has been run in about 7f feet there is a two foot vein which carries an average value of $5 in gold and lilver. At the bottom of il 35 foot shaft a vein has been uncovered which averages $15 in gold and sil ver. Considering the size of the veins and the shallow depths nt which they yield these values, the proposition seems to bear the ear-marks of a genuine bonanza In addition to these fine average veins It is reported that in an Incline shaft which r oniy (15 feet deep, assays have been secur ed which run as high as $Tu(i In the ton in gold. A large creek which carries suffi cient water nil the year around to run a good sir.ed mill flows directly through several of the claims. The water from this, creek can easily be utilized for furnishing power, thus greatly reducing the expense, of op erating both mill and mine. In addi tion to this it is said that there is nn abundant supply of timber on ami in close proximity to the property.' The former owners of the properly nrc W. P. Uorsey nf this city and O. N.
