Donaldson, wife and two daugh- lets of Knglewuod, III., en route to iLo Angeles over the Borderland I route, met with an accident west of the city yesterday when their big louring car turned turle on account I o the slippery condition of ihe rood owing to the recent tain. Dr. Donaldson, who was driving tlis car, was thrown Clear trom the ma chine, lint one of the daughter! was caught under the car and Buffered sever,! wounds about the head und face. The other daughter was partial ly pinned under the overturned ma chine, hut succeeded in extricating herself and gave such assistance as she could to her mother and sister, the former escaping with very slight injuries. A party of ranchers riding by help ed Dr. Donaldson to straighten up his machine, the damage to the car be ing only slight with the exception of shuttering the wind shield and break ing the top.
