Lawrence Korns. John Korwin, John Duma,
Tbomus Hand, and Daniel Unnkln, buys aged
from 12 to 16 yearn, pleaded guilty to larceny,
sad.woro remanded. Tbo evidence against
loom was conclusive, and lu tbo bearing
ft croopcd out that tboy wore all old,
offenders, young as they arc. Two
of thorn had done time nt the Urldowoli, and tbo
others either bad suspended sentences hanging
over thorn or bad been dealt with mercifully and
escaped punishment through intlucnco und
Illinois. The Court In remanding them said such
(uses wore the hardest ho bad to deal with, for
CD reason that ho did not know what (o do with
y criminals. The Courts could not go on sus
pending sentences in such cases, und It would
uo no good to send thorn to Jail. Ho would re
