Butte.Aug. 14.^Th-- new forms for^the county oftlcerb that have been pre-^parol by I). I). Bogart. the state ex^^aminer, and which navi Just been re^^ceived by the officers of Sliver Bow^county, have not been accorded any^^thing resembling an enthusiastic re^^ception and there will probably be sev^^eral Interesting sparring matches, when^Mr. Bogart pays the court house in^Butte his next official visit. In the^meantime the great majority of his^forms have been pigeon-holed and Mr.^Bogart will have a great deal of diffi^^culty in having them adopted for gen^^eral use unless he makes some radical^changes In them. The forms prepared^by County Auditor Winters which seem^to fully conform to Vho requirements in^each case are still In use, and as they^give excellent satisfaction the county^ohicers as a rule are opposed to discon^^tinuing them until something better is^presented.
Itis claimed that the trouble with^the state examiner's blanks Is princi^^pally due to the fact that he secured^his information concerning them In St.^Paul, where the laws are widely differ^^ent from those of Montana. They are^willing to admit that Mr. Ilogart means^well enough, hut they are surprised^that he did not familiarize himself with^the conditions that exist In Sliver Bow^county, which Is easily the most lm-^portaal county In the state, before pre^^paring his forma. It Is said that he did^not visit Hutte until after he had pre^^pared the forms and that he took no^pains to Inform himself on the require^^ments of the leading o.unties of the^state but confined his Investigation to^the backwoods and cow counties.
Mr.Bogart sent Auditor Winters^some advance copies of the new forms,^and the latter wrote him that they^vv ie impractical and not In accord^^ance wilh law. He also sent him some^of tlie forms now in us- here and a few^suggestions that he considered timely.^The examiner replied that he was the^gentleman who was preparing the^blanks, and that he did not desire any^dictation from countv officers. He fur^^ther stated that If Mi. Winters did not^use the forms supplied by him he would^npponf before the county commission^^ers and order that no hills he paid that^were not made out mi his forms. Mr.^Winters sent back u sharp reply In^which he Intimated that Mr. I'.ogart^did not know his business and there^MM matter rests for the present.
lie'coroner's docket supplied by the^examiner has been faulty In several^respects and Coroner Itictiards lias re^^jected it and continues to use the old^one supplied by Mr. Winters. The ei-^anilinr's form for the sheriff's board^bill Is also unsatisfactory and Mr.Wln-^tera' form is still being used. Mr. Win^^ters says that the bills made out on^Iris forms will be paid.

Apetition for letters of administra^^tion In the matter of the estate of Wil^^liam S. Wright, was filed to-day by-^Mrs. Rttaabeth A. Wright. She says^that the estate Is worth about 12.S0O.^consisting of a ISO-acre ranch valued at^ll.r.oo. ISO acres of unpatented placer^ground, worth about 1400. and a lot of^^horses, cattle and farm machinery.
