A committee was made up of in terested men and the proposition was turned over to them. An ex cellent film on the Boy Scout program was shown. Mrs. Don Grazier and Mrs. Carmen Ebel served the lunch. The dime dish was wen by the 7th and Sth grade room. The Royal Neighbors have been having a series of card parties at Dixon. They have been held in Mrs. McCarthy’s home. They have been a success and all have enjoyed them. Mr. and Mrs. Branson, Mrs. Frances Davis and Mr. Christian son represented Dixon at the fol low-up (meeting of the chest X-ray reports at Plains last week. There were people from Hot Springs, Paradise, Plains, Thompson Falls and Dixon. All felt it necessary to organize a Sanders County Health Council and followed thru by doing so. Mr. and Mrs. Priddy held a fam ily reunion Sunday afternoon at their home. All their childrne, plus girl friends and boy friends and grand children were present. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Williams from Bozeman were weekend vis itors at the Martin Nicholson home. Mrs. Williams is the former Mary Ann Nicholson. Dinner guests aet the Roser Christianso nhome last Wednesday night were Mr. and Mrs. Neilson of Missoula and Mr. Osborne of the Agency. Mr. “Shorty” Hawkins and fam ily are nicely settled in their new’ home. Mr. Haw kins bought the old Methodist parsonage, better known to Dixenites as the Leo Borbough’s home. Friday was a busy day in school. The juniors and seniors, chaper oned by their sponsors, went to Missoula to take part in the vaca tion day. Those left at home spent the afternoon cleaning the school grounds so they would look nice on election day. Mr. Reuben Moss is the new member of the Dixon school board. The election is over now’, so let’s all ‘‘get behind the wheel” and help all we can. Several families took advantage of fair weather last week and cleaned up the Methodist church yard. Congratulations, people, it looks very nice! The football field committee was busy all day Sunday and they had lots of help, too. Next fall the players will not suffer from dust or have to play in mud. Sunday guests at the Fritz Wip linger home were Mr. and Mrs. Walt Fouty and family, Mr. and Mrs. Don Grazier and family and Grave Davis. The Foutys have been in Ohio all winter but are now temporarily located at Mrs. Fouty’s folks, Mr. and Mrs. Lozar at Polson. Mrs. Nat McTucker entertained several women and young girls at a surprise party for Miss Doro thy Gulliford Sunday afternoon.
