The American Legion Auxiliary birthday dinner will be held Sat., March 26th in the basement of the Methodist church. Mr. and Mrs. Selmer Deteit and son, Roger; Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Phillips and children, Don Lloyd and Kathy, were dinner guests Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hilton. The occasion was an informal fare well for the bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hilton who left Wednesday • morning to return to college in Billings. Harold Ware returned to his home here from the Veteran’s hos pital at Fort Harrison where he underwent surgery for stomach ulcers. Mrs. Ware and Glen Mountjoy drove to Fort Harrison and brought him home. Mrs. Ware reports that he is feeling fine and is able to eat well. He is a veteran of World War I. • _ Mrs. Rilla C. Hodges arrived home Monday from Weatherford, Okahoma, where she spent the winter with ber neice and famiy. Mrs. Hodges reports a severe win ter in Oklahoma. There -were eight inches of snow in the streets of Oklahoma City when she left. A stop of three days was made in Butte for a visit with relatives and friends while enrout^ home. Mrs. Maude Carr returned to bar home here Wednesday evening from Salem, Oregon, where she has been spending the winter with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Carr. Floyd ac accompanied his mother home and returned to Salem immediately by bus. Mrs. Carr is still somewhat handicapped from the injury she recieved about three years ago when she broke a leg, but says she is feeling fine and has had a wonderful winter in Salem.
