NOTICE
Applications will be accepted by the Tribal Council
for the position of Chief of Police until May 22, 1961
STARTING SALARY: Equivalent to first step GS-5
$4/345 per annum
DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS: The incumbent wiU be
responsible for the planning, direction and co-ordination of
law enforcement activities under the Tribes law and order
program. The nature of the work is to maintain law and
order and to insure the peace and dignity of the Confeder
ated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. The incumbent will co
operate with local law enforcement officials in carrying out
the law enforcement program. Applicant must furnish evi
dence of good health on medical examination form (Stan
dard Form 78) available at this office or most government
offices. Applicants must be able to furnish a valid Montana
drivers license.
