Rodent control will be discussed
and demonstrated on a field day
originating at the Ronan city hall
at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 19.
The Lake county extension ser
vice wiU sponsor the tour in co
operation with the U.S. Fish and
Wildlife service.
Evidence shows that pocket
gophers have caused extensive
damage to some crops in the
county. Due to the mild winter,
rodent damage is likely to be
severe this summer, Don GiU,
assistant county agent, said.
Farmers and ranchers having
rodent control problems will be
able to see the control techniques
