Logs will be cut on Ceder creek and rafted down the Yellowstone. Mr. Lanmartine m ow has everything in rediness to be gin operations in his mill as soon as the logs are brought down. The balance of indebtedness against the Episcopal church was raised by private subscription the past week and that society will hereafter be out of debt. An entertainment was given at the residtilee- of N. C. Green last evening under the auspices of the Young Meh's Christian Associa tion. Electric light poles have been erected and wires streched along 1 Yellowstone street, to accommodate t private families in that locality with incandescent lights. The ranehmen of the upper Yel lowstone valley are- preparing to' construct a large irrigating canal, I capable of carrying at 'least 2,500 c inches of water. Engineer Samuel c Bundock has been engaged to make the necessary surveys, and it is the intention to have the canal corn pleted during the present season.
