The guests were Mesdames Thompson, Shepard ,Roy Lynn, Steele, Ed Beadle, Ben Foster, Elmer Price, One of the pretty social affairs of the week was the miscellaneous shower given at the H. M. Rae home on Monday evening, complimentary to, Miss Agnes Rae, Mesdames H. S. Rae and H. M. Rae acting as hostesses. Miss Rae is to become the bride of J. Miklejohn, Sam Alexander, James Laird, Frank Daugherty, McBteh, Dave Thomas, Clem Lodge, Joe Frank ovich, Barbara McDonald, Alex Mc Donald, George Brown. Ed McLuskie, William Campbell, W. Murrie, William Freeman, Jr., Floyd Boyer, Jim Boyer J. W. Anderson, and the Misses Anna Thompson and Mrs. Clarence Williams and the honor guest. The news reached this community of the marnage of Miss Jesse Dell and George Massick, formerly of this place. The wedding took place in Bil lings. They came to Bearcreek and will spend several days here before leaving for Tacoma, Wash., where they will make their future home. Mrs. Massick is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Dell of Luther. She graduated from the Red Lodge high school and has been teaching school the past three years, having taught here last year. Mr. Massick is the son of Mrs. John Marshal of this place. He formerly was a partner of Mr. Marshal in a soft drink parlor of this place, but is now a chef on the Mil waukee, St. Paul R. R. running from Tacoma to Chicago. The community extends congratulations. The members of the Eastern Star proved themselves delightful hostesses Saturday evening when they enter tained the members of the Masonic Lodge. Three earth quake shocks within an hour of each other were felt in this community Saturday evening and left the majority of residents awe stricken over the unusual phenomena. The first quake was felt about 6:30. The second shock which was the most noticeable came about three quarters of an hour later. A very slight ene was again j felt about 8:30. Houses shook and dishes rattled but no damage was caused. This community, from all re ports received the lightest shocks of any town in the earthquake region. Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Fol lowing the dinner the evening was spent in conversation.
