H. P. SHELLEY Authorized Dealer RED LODGE, MONTANA 222 STUDENTS ARE ENROLLED IN THE REFRY HI SCHOOL Attorney E. P. Conwell After a Visit There Give« Some Impressions of the School and its Teachers. The writer had the pleasure of u vis it to the Belfry High School last Friday and had the opportunity of seeing the work that is being done by the students there under tho super vision of Supt. A, 0. Nelson nnd what is said to be the ablest corps of teachers in the history of the Belfry schools. Belfry isn't the largest town in Car bon County. Many of the grade and High School students come from the surrounding country, but the rooms are well filled, there being an enroll ment of 222 pupils at prosent. Their school building is new and in equip ment, appointment and arrangement for effective work it is doubtful if it has a superior among the school build ings in Carbon County, Then too, they have what is conceded to be the best truck for athletics in the county and that important part of school work being given at attention that it de serves. In the track meet held last autumn it is remembered that the ^ e lf r y H>kh School took first place in a contest that was participated in by ever y one of our hi K h Miss Margery Freakes of this city is a member of the High School faculty ; there this year and it is a matter of gratification to her many friends here \ to know that she is giving entire sat isfaction and is well pleased with her work there, Without any disparagement to any other teacher or Superintendent in the county it can be said that Prof, A. O. Nelson is a real school man. He must be more than half responsible for the effective work that is being done there by a student body that is at once orderly, diligent and studious. The people of Belfry and the Board of Education seem to take a pardonable pride in making the schools there as good as the best to be found anywhere. The faculty is as follows: Prof. A. 0. Nelson, Superintendent; Prof. Paul Anderson, High School: Miss Marg- 1 ery Freakes, High School; Miss Ferroll Henry, First Grade: Miss Jennie Tut tie, 2nd and 3rd grades; Miss Euphie Foule, 5th grade; Miss Helen Lyle, oth and Cth grades; and Miss Cora E. Howell, 7th and 8th grades. I Figure This Out "I was early of late, behind before and now I am first at last.' / Advertisin'it the keystone to / the Arch in your business > buOdind.
